Solavel works in English and Arabic across all apps, and the portal and SolaCount support nine more languages. In Arabic and Urdu, layouts mirror right-to-left. Every app also has a light and a dark theme.

Your choice is remembered in your browser (for up to a year, shared across solavel.com pages). Preferred language in Account Settings also saves it to your account, so it is used when you sign in on another browser or device. Switching keeps you on the same page.
Languages an app does not have. If your preferred language is, say, Français, the portal shows French, while SolaProjects, SolaStock and SolaHR (English and Arabic only) show English; SolaCount has French in its own language menu. Nothing is lost or broken; set the app's own English/Arabic button if you prefer Arabic there. Opening an app again from Workspace Home applies your saved account language where the app supports it; a language you pick inside an app is a session choice.
Confirmations, outcome notices and validation messages use the shared feedback layer, so they appear in your language in every app (Arabic and English fully). Some app-specific labels may still show in English in the less common languages. Report them through Reports in the portal.
Right-to-left (Arabic and Urdu)
When an RTL language is active:
- The sidebar moves to the right, and drawers open from the right.
- Text, tables and forms align right. Back/forward arrows flip.
- Row-action menus are measured and kept on screen in both directions.
- Numbers, amounts, email addresses, document numbers and phone numbers stay left-to-right inside RTL text, so
INV-0042and+971 50 123 4567read correctly. - Chart of accounts names and system labels follow the active language. Text you typed (customer names, descriptions) stays as entered.
Documents you send to customers (invoice PDFs) follow the document template's language settings in SolaCount, not your screen language.

The toggle in each app is saved per app in this browser, so a quick change in one app doesn't change the others. To set a default for all apps, choose Light or Dark in Account Settings → Appearance and click Save changes: your apps adopt it the first time you open them in a browser, and again whenever you change the account default; a later toggle on a device survives reloads. A new device with no saved choice starts from the account default, or from the device setting where an app follows it (SolaStock, SolaProjects).
Steps: switch the portal to Arabic
- Click the globe button in the top bar.
- Choose العربية.
- The page reloads right-to-left. Open apps from Workspace Home as usual. SolaCount, SolaStock and SolaHR remember their own language choice, so switch them too if needed.
Reporting a translation or layout problem
Include the app, the page address, the language, the device or screen width, and a screenshot without customer data. Send it through Reports → New report in the portal.
