Workspace Home is where you open your Solavel apps. It shows every app for the organization you are working in, whether you can open it, and your role there. Use it after sign-in, and any time you want to switch app or organization.
Where to find it

- From inside an app: SolaCount's user menu has Solavel Portal ("Manage your account and organizations"). SolaProjects' account menu has a Solavel portal card ("Organizations, apps, plans and billing") and tiles for your other apps. The account menus of SolaCount, SolaStock, SolaHR and SolaProjects also have a Documentation tile (black Solavel logo) that opens that app's guides in a new tab. In SolaStock, Back to portal appears on the access-denied screen. You can always go to solavel.com/portal directly. See Switching apps and organizations.
What the page shows

App tiles
Each tile shows the app, its tagline (for example Finance & accounting), your plan, your role in that app (or Organization owner), and a status.

Open an app
- Make sure the right organization is selected (sidebar, Current organization box; click it to Switch organization).
- Click Open app on the tile.
- The app opens in a new browser tab and you are signed in automatically (single sign-on) for that organization. Workspace Home stays open in the first tab, so you can keep both and come back to open another app.
The app opens on its own domain (SolaCount at solacount.com). Your Solavel session carries over, so you don't sign in again. The same new-tab behaviour applies to Open app in Recently opened and on the organization's Apps page (since 10 October 2026). If your browser blocks pop-ups, allow them for solavel.com.
Customize the page
- Pin app / Unpin app — the pin button in the corner of a tile adds or removes the app from Favorites. It is outlined, fills in when pinned, and changes at once without reloading the page; if saving fails it flips back.
- Customize — reorder with Move up / Move down, then Apply.
- Reset preferences restores the default layout.
Search apps
The top-bar search ("Search apps…") filters the apps on Workspace Home. Press Ctrl + K (or ⌘ K on Mac) to jump to it from any portal page. Typing on another page takes you back to Workspace Home. "No matching apps." means none match.
When an app won't open
Opening an app that you can't use shows an access page with a headline and explanation, plus:
- Manage subscription (owners) — opens billing.
- Contact workspace owner — opens an email to the owner.
- Back to workspace.
Worked example
Sara is a Member of Al Noor Trading LLC with SolaCount (Accountant) and SolaStock (Inventory Viewer).
- Her tiles show SolaCount and SolaStock as Available to you, with roles Accountant (Member) and Inventory Viewer.
- SolaProjects shows Access required, because the organization has it (bundled with Advanced) but it wasn't granted to her.
- SolaHR shows Not enabled.
She pins SolaCount, then clicks Open app and lands on the SolaCount dashboard for Al Noor Trading LLC.
