Solavel Docs

Overview

Last updated

Overview is the first tab of every project — its home page. At a glance it shows what the project is (name, code, status, health, customer, manager, target date, team size), how the work is going (completion and task counters), what needs attention now (overdue, blocked and due-soon tasks), the latest documents, and — when SolaCount is connected — the project's Finance section: revenue, cost, profit and margin, linked SolaCount documents, project expenses and rate cards.

Everyone on the project uses it: managers to spot problems, members to see what is late, finance users to check profitability and bill.

Where to find it

How Details
Sidebar Project → Overview (first project tab). Pick the project in the project picker first.
From lists Click a project on Projects, the Dashboard's Recent projects, a Project Group, or Ctrl K → project name.
URL /projects/{project} (also /projects/{project}/overview).

Who sees it: anyone who can open the project — owners and Projects Administrators (all projects) and project members (Manager, Member, Viewer). The Finance section appears only when SolaCount is connected and finance is visible to you (see Permissions). The Overview is available on every plan; project finance needs the Professional plan or higher with SolaCount.
