Traceability, lots, serials, and recalls

Use lot and serial tracking when expiry, warranty, or product history matters.

1. Enable Lot, Serial, or Expiry tracking on the item.
2. Record lot or serial details during receiving and shipment.
3. Open Traceability, Lots / Batches, or Serial Numbers to review lifecycle history.
4. Create a Recall, review Impact, export the impact CSV if needed, and select Activate recall only after confirmation.
5. Close the recall when the response is complete.

Lot statuses include Active, Expired, Quarantined, Consumed, and Recalled. Serial records show availability and lifecycle states. An active recall can block shipment without an override.
