Items

Items are products, services, or non-inventory goods used in stock and fulfilment.

1. Open Items and select New item.
2. Enter basic information, SKU, type, category, brand, price, and cost.
3. Choose Weighted average or FIFO costing for inventory items.
4. Set reorder point, reorder quantity, safety stock, and optional lot, serial, or expiry tracking.
5. Add optional opening stock, then select Save.

Use the item detail tabs Overview, Inventory, Movements, Barcodes, Media, and Details. Service items do not track stock. System warnings and inactive status explain why an item cannot be selected.
