Purpose
The Documents Library is your organization's file store inside Solabooks — receipts, contracts, scanned paperwork, spreadsheets, and the PDFs Solabooks generates. It keeps supporting files alongside the books instead of scattered across email and drives.
Step by step
Browse
Open Documents. Files are organised by type — PDFs, images, Word documents, spreadsheets — with Starred and Trash views.
Upload
Permission: documents.upload.
Drag files in or use Upload. Uploaded files can be attached to transactions (a receipt on an expense, a contract on a customer).
Organise
- Star important files for quick access.
- Trash removes a file to the recycle view; it can be restored or permanently deleted.
Generated documents
Every posted invoice, quote, bill, and receipt stores its rendered PDF here automatically, so the document library doubles as an archive of everything you have issued.
Behaviour and rules
- Org-scoped. Files belong to the active organization only.
- Trash is reversible until you permanently delete.
